Label films differ widely in heat tolerance: BOPP runs −20 to +93 °C (not for hot-fill above ~80 °C), PET −40 to +150 °C (the durable workhorse), PVC vinyl −20 to 90 °C, and metallized film −70 to 150 °C including hot-fill at 85–95 °C. For a bottle that gets hot, reach for PET or metallized, not BOPP.

Common questions
BOPP runs roughly −20 to +93 °C, so it handles refrigeration — but not hot-fill above about 80 °C. For a hot-fill line, use PET or metallized film instead.
PET (rated to about +150 °C) or metallized film, which is built for hot-fill at 85–95 °C. BOPP distorts above ~80 °C, so it is the wrong choice for hot-fill.
