Most ‘removable’ labels are actually just slow-bond permanent — they remove cleanly for the first day, leave residue after the first week. Real removable adhesive is a different chemistry entirely.

Will removable labels leave residue?
Properly specified removable acrylic leaves no residue within its rated window. Removed past the rated period (e.g. 12 months on a 6-month rated adhesive), residue is likely.
Q. 02
Can I print on removable substrates with home inkjet?
Yes — removable face stocks accept the same inks as their permanent equivalents. The difference is the adhesive layer beneath.
Q. 03
Are removable labels less durable?
The face stock is the same — only the adhesive differs. Water, sun and chemical resistance match the permanent equivalent.
Q. 04
What's the difference between removable and repositionable?
Removable: cleanly removed once. Repositionable: applied, lifted, and reapplied multiple times without tack loss. Different adhesive chemistries.
