UV coating flood- or spot-applies a liquid clear coat cured instantly under UV light, with no heat, precise thickness, and very fast drying for high-speed lines. Flood UV gives overall water/scuff protection at adjustable gloss. Spot UV applies high-gloss only to chosen artwork — against a matte base it creates a raised, three-dimensional contrast used to highlight a logo or product name, and can stack with foil and emboss. UV coating itself also slows ink fade by absorbing some UV.
