Destructible?
The self-destructing label. Try to peel it and it shatters — irreversible proof that someone tried. The face of every warranty seal and asset tag.
What it is
Destructible — or eggshell — material has very low internal cohesion: any attempt to peel it shatters the facestock into small pieces that cannot be reapplied, giving irreversible tamper evidence. Paired with a high-tack permanent adhesive it is even harder to remove cleanly. This differs from VOID labels, which use a PET face plus a special adhesive that leaves a “VOID” pattern behind when removed.

It is the standard for warranty seals, asset tags, and calibration seals — anywhere you need physical proof of tampering. The limit is environment: humid or hot conditions pre-weaken the facestock, so it is not the right choice where the seal must survive moisture or heat before anyone tries to remove it.
